Everything people ask before they start.

Short answers for both sides. If yours is not here, the For affiliates and For businesses pages go deeper.

What is Xela Affiliates?

A way for people with an audience to promote digital services — courses, coaching, communities, software — and earn a commission on every sale they bring in. Businesses list the offer and set the commission; affiliates share one permanent link; checkout records who sent the buyer and splits the money.

Who can be an affiliate?

Anyone with people who trust their recommendations: a following, a newsletter, a community, a group chat, a channel. It works for a large audience and for a small, engaged one. You do not need to make or deliver anything — you pick offers you believe in and put them in front of the right people.

How do I get my link, and does it expire?

Choose an offer in the catalog and you get one unique link for it. It is permanent — post it once and reuse it anywhere, for as long as the offer is live. No regenerating, no promo codes, no screenshots to prove a sale.

How much does an affiliate earn?

A percentage of each sale, set by the business for that specific offer — most sit between 20% and 30%. The rate is shown before you promote, so you know the economics up front. It is calculated automatically at checkout.

What does it cost?

Nothing to join, for either side. When a sale happens, the business pays the commission it set to the affiliate and a 5% fee to Xela, and keeps the rest. No sale, no cost.

When does money move?

Sales are recorded the moment checkout completes. Payouts run monthly, after orders have settled and refund windows have cleared, so everyone is paid on real sales. Affiliates complete payout setup before the first transfer.

What can be promoted?

Digital and online services only — things that can be delivered to a buyer anywhere without shipping or inventory. Courses, coaching programs, memberships, communities, software, consulting packages, templates.

Who delivers the product and handles support?

The business. It built the offer, it delivers it, and it owns buyer support and refunds. Affiliates handle reach, not fulfilment. Xela handles the tracking, the split, and the payouts.

How does a business list an offer?

Create or claim your business account, list the offer with its price and fulfilment details, set the commission, and complete ownership verification. Once the offer is open to affiliates, they can take their links and start promoting. You can open or close any offer to affiliates at any time.

What happens with a refund?

Refunded orders are resolved before any payout is released, so commission is only ever paid on sales that stuck. Both sides see the same order record throughout.
